We pulled our Christmas decorations out for the first time in four years! Moving a lot will do that to you. Emma was immediately comfortable with the tree.
I had forgotten what the tree decorations even looked like. We had a lot more than I thought we did. I ended up liking the neutral look after putting up half of them, and didn’t even put up any of the colorful ornaments this time.
My Aunt Sam hand painted a beautiful ornament for us as a wedding gift; it definitely went up!
Emma approves of the tree, it is now her living room lounge.
I threw the extra glittery pine cone ornaments in a glass vase on the mantel. Then went my collection of nutcrackers (I didn’t remember having any of those), and I’m done!
